GalleryDock Expands Client Galleries With Website Embedding

HANNOVER, Germany, October 4, 2026 – GalleryDock has extended website embedding to English-speaking photographers internationally, allowing them to place client galleries within their existing websites. The feature uses a supplied embed code that photographers copy into a compatible website page.

The update follows the software’s English-language launch on September 24, 2026. It connects GalleryDock’s client delivery tools with the websites photographers already use to present their work and communicate with customers.

“Photographers put care into every image they create. Delivering those images should reflect that same care, with client galleries that feel like a natural part of their own website,” said Edmond Rätzel, founder of GalleryDock.

Client galleries alongside an existing portfolio

A photographer can create a gallery in GalleryDock, copy its embed code and add it to a page that accepts embedded content. This makes it possible to include a client gallery alongside portfolio and service pages without developing a separate gallery interface. Support for the code depends on the website platform and its configuration.

For a photography business, the practical benefit is continuity: the website can remain a central place for visitors to discover the photographer’s work and access the relevant gallery. The integration does not require replacing the existing website.

GalleryDock provides an English guide explaining how to embed a photo gallery on a website.

Password protection and client review

Photo delivery often involves collections intended for particular clients rather than a general audience. GalleryDock offers password protection for these galleries, alongside tools for photo selection and image downloads. Photographers can use these functions to organize the review and delivery stages following a shoot.

The software also supports time-specific video feedback for filmmakers. This allows comments to relate to particular moments in a video when a project needs review.

Three free galleries to get started

A free GalleryDock account includes three galleries and 1 GB of storage. Photographers can use this allowance to explore the client gallery workflow before deciding whether they need more capacity. The software is available in English and German.

An optional print shop provides a further route for photographers who want to offer photographic prints. Applicable shop fees are separate from the free account allowance.
